preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease and line a 20cm x 10cm loaf pan with baking paper.
cream butter and sugar until light & creamy. fold in sifted NESTLÉ baking cocoa and flour with milk, egg and vanilla. spoon into prepared pan and bake 20-25 minutes or until a skewer insertedinto the centre comes out clean. cool on a wire rack then return to the same loaf pan.

whilst the torte is cooking, make the milk ganache. place NESTLÉ milk melts in a pan with cream and butter. stir over a low heat until melted. allow to cool and thicken.
make the dark ganache by placing NESTLÉ dark melts in a pan with cream and butter. stir over a low heat until melted. allow to cool and thicken.
spread the milk ganache over the cake followed by the dark ganache. refrigerate until set.
