  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease and line a 20cm round cake pan.2. beat butter and sugar until light and creamy; beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. beat in plaistowe premium dark chocolate.
  2. fold in sifted flour and NESTLÉ baking cocoa, alternatively with milk. spoon mixture into prepared pan. bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. remove from pan, cool on wire rack.
  3. combine extra plaistowe premium dark chocolate and cream in a medium bowl; using electric beaters, beat until thick and creamy.
  4. cut cake in half, sandwich cake with chocolate cream.
