METHOD

  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. line two baking trays with baking paper.
  2. beat butter, sugar and NESTLÉ sweetened condensed milk until light and creamy. add egg, beat until well combined. add NESTLÉ white melts, beat well.
  3. fold in sifted flours, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix to a firm dough, wrap dough in plastic wrap, refrigerate 30 minutes.
  4. roll dough out onto a lightly floured surface to 5mm thickness; using christmas shape cutters, cut dough into desired shapes. place shaped dough onto prepared trays. with smaller cutters, cut and discard centre pattern for stained glass. bake 10 minutes or until light golden, cool on a wire rack.
  5. place cooked cookies on clean baking trays lined with baking paper; spoon crushed lollies to fill centre pattern, place in oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until lollies have melted. allow to cool on tray before removing.
