  1. preheat oven to 170°c/150°c fan-forced. grease and line a 22cm square cake pan.
  2. using an electric mixer, cream butter, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl on medium-high until light and fluffy.
  3. spread mixture into prepared pan. bake for one hour or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. stand in pan for 10 minutes. turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
  4. once cake has cooled, cut the corners and shape cake into an oval egg shape using a serrated knife. using an electric mixer, beat extra butter in a bowl until pale. gradually add icing sugar mixture and milk, beating constantly until combined; frost cake with frosting.
  5. in a small piping bag with a round nozzle, decorate cake with NESTLÉ milk melts and NESTLÉ white and dark choc bits using picture as a guide.
