METHOD

  1. dissolve gelatine in hot water, cool slightly.
  2. mix NESTLÉ baking cocoa and boiling water to a paste; combine with custard and sifted icing sugar, whisk until smooth. whisk gelatine into custard mixture.
  3. beat egg whites until firm peaks form, fold into chocolate custard mixture. divide between 6 individual serving dishes, refrigerate until set. sprinkle with shredded coconut, to serve, if desired.
