place butter and plaistowe premium dark chocolate in a medium saucepan, stirring over a low heat until chocolate melts. remove from heat.
stir in sugar and vanilla; add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. sift in flour, NESTLÉ baking cocoa and baking powder, stir into mixture until well combined. cover dough with cling wrap, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
roll heaped tablespoons of dough into balls. place on prepared trays, allowing room to spread.
bake for 18-20 minutes or until cookies are firm on the outside and soft in the centre. cool on trays before transferring onto a cooling rack. dust with icing sugar to serve.
