preheat oven to 180°c/160° fan forced. line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
using an electric mixer, beat butter and icing sugar until light and creamy; add egg yolk; fold in sifted flours and chilled water, mix until just combined.
turn mixture onto a lightly floured surface; knead for one minute or until smooth. in between two sheets of baking paper, roll mixture until 2mm thick; using an egg shape cutter, cut shapes and place onto prepared tray. repeat with remaining dough. bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden. cool.
pour NESTLÉ white melts into a small piping bag with a small round nozzle; decorate biscuits with your own creative design.
