Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced. Grease and line two baking trays with baking paper.
Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugars until pale and creamy, add egg and beat until just combined. Stir in flour and NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Milk CHOC BITS. Mix until well combined.
Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls; place 4cm apart on prepared trays; gently press down on cookies to flatten slightly. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden. Set aside on trays for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack.
These cookies are best served warm.
