place 1 1/4 cups (185g) NESTLÉ dark melts in a saucepan with butter and golden syrup. cook over a low heat, stirring, until melted.
stir in biscuits, mixed peel, zest and cointreau or orange juice; mix well. press mixture into prepared pan. cover and refrigerate until firm.
dip strawberries in remaining NESTLÉ dark melts, which has been melted according to packet directions; allow to set; place on top of torte and dust with icing sugar if desired. serve cut into wedges.
