  1. using an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until pale and creamy. gradually add sifted dry ingredients, and NESTLÉ white and dark choc bits.
  2. mix to firm dough; knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth. press dough evenly into prepared tin. using a small sharp knife, mark wedges on top, and use a fork to gently prick top of short bread. bake for 1 hour; cool in pan.
