  2. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease and line a 23cm round cake pan with baking paper.
  3. using electic beaters, beat eggs and sugars until thick and creamy; add sour cream.
  4. fold in flour, almonds, spice, carrot and cherries, mixing until well combined.
  5. pour into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. cool on a wire rack.

  7. beat cream cheese until smooth; add NESTLÉ sweetened condensed milk, zest and vanilla, beating well.
  8. spread over cake and refrigerate 1 hour.
