METHOD

  1. preheat oven to 170°c/150°c fan-forced. line a 12-hole, 1/3-cup (80ml) muffin pan with paper cases
  2. in an electric mixer combine flour and sugar; beat in combined eggs, CARNATION light & creamy cooking milk, butter and vanilla, beat for 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  3. divide mixture evenly among prepared cases bake for about 20 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. cool on wire rack.
  4. using an electric mixer; beat butter until pale and creamy. gradually add icing sugar; beat until light and fluffy; add hot water. tint with colouring or flavour with essence
  5. spread icing over top of cooled cupcakes. decorate by placing a NESTLÉ smarties in the centre of each cupcake, use marshmallows and NESTLÉ white melts to make petals using the picture as a guide. use licorice twists to make flower stems. arragne a cupcakes at the end of each stem to complete the flower arrangement; tie with a bow, if desired.
