spread margarine over cut side of hot cross buns; arrange buttered-side up in the greased dish to form two rows that overlap slightly. sprinkle combined NESTLÉ milk choc bits and NESTLÉ white choc bits between layers.
whisk eggs, sugar, NESTLÉ CARNATION Lite Cooking Cream and vanilla; pour over buns and press down firmly. set aside for 10 minutes to allow some liquid to be absorbed.
bake for 45 minutes or until just set; stand 10 minutes before serving.
