place NESTLÉ CARNATION Creamy Evaporated Milk, vanilla essence and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat; stir until hot but not boiling; whisk in eggs.
sprinkle sultanas over base of prepared dishes. pour custard over sultanas. place dishes in a baking pan, pour enough boiling water to come halfway up sides of dishes; bake 25 minutes or until just set.
sprinkle almonds and extra sugar evenly over top, place under hot grill until golden.
