Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced in preparation for those easy choc chip muffins. Line a 12-hole (1/3 cup/80mL) muffin pans with paper cases.
Combine flour, sugar and NESTLÉ BAKERS' CHOICE Dark CHOC BITS in a large bowl; make a well in the centre of the flour mixture.
In a large jug, combine butter, milk, egg and vanilla essence. Add milk mixture to well; stir into flour mixture until just combined (do not overmix). Spoon into prepared muffin cases and bake 20-25 minutes until just firm to touch. Stand those easy choc chip muffins in the pan for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool. After they're done cooling, you can delight in that dependably delicious choc chip muffin taste.
