  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  2. dissolve nescafÉ blend 43 in water, cool slightly then combine with NESTLÉ top’n’fill caramel.
  3. place flours, ground almonds, sugar, butter, egg yolk and 1/3 of the chocolate mixture into a food processor, process until combined.
  4. roll teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls, place on prepared trays and press lightly with a fork.
  5. brush half the biscuits with egg white and sprinkle with flaked almonds. bake 12-15 minutes or until golden. remove from oven and cool slightly.
  6. join biscuits together with remaining mixture. serve dusted with icing sugar.
