METHOD

heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. cook onion and bacon for 2 minutes, stirring occassionally. add rice and cook 2 minutes.

add water, MAGGI original seasoning, lemon juice and wine; bring to the boil. cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. add broccoli, cover and simmer a further 5 minutes.

remove from heat and gently stir in cheese, walnuts and avocado. stand 2 minutes to heat through then serve immediately.
