METHOD

  1. preheat oven to 220°c/200°c fan forced.
  2. line the base of a greased ovenproof dish with potatoes; add water.
  3. combine beef with 1 tbsp of the MAGGI bolognaise pasta bake mix, mix well, form into 4 patties, place on top of potatoes in one layer; bake, uncovered for 15 minutes, remove from oven; adjust oven temperature to 200°c/180°c fan forced.
  4. top burgers with onion, tomatoes and combined remaining MAGGI bolognaise pasta bake mix, extra water and tomato paste, cover and bake 40 minutes; add peas and bake a further 5 minutes.
