  1. heat a large saucepan over high heat; add lamb, brown well. add combined MAGGI lamb casserole recipe base, undrained mashed tomatoes and water. bring to boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat, simmer, covered for 30 minutes.
  2. add vegetables and pasta; simmer a further 10 minutes.
  3. remove meat from lamb shank, chop roughly, return to soup.
