peel pears and remove core. insert a cinnamon stick into the cavity of each pear.
stand pears in a medium saucepan and pour over apple juice. add vanilla bean and bring to the boil. reduce heat and simmer for 8 – 10 minutes or until pears are tender.
meanwhile, combine NESTLÉ ski d'lite vanilla creme yoghurt and prunes.
serve pears in shallow bowls with some of the cooking syrup. serve with a dollop of the prune yoghurt.
