METHOD

  1. peel pears and remove core. insert a cinnamon stick into the cavity of each pear.
  2. stand pears in a medium saucepan and pour over apple juice. add vanilla bean and bring to the boil. reduce heat and simmer for 8 – 10 minutes or until pears are tender.
  3. meanwhile, combine NESTLÉ ski d'lite vanilla creme yoghurt and prunes.
  4. serve pears in shallow bowls with some of the cooking syrup. serve with a dollop of the prune yoghurt.
