METHOD

place butter, sugar, golden syrup, milk and vanilla into a small saucepan. stir over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. remove from heat, cool.

sift flour and bicarbonate soda into a large bowl. add NESTLÉ milk melts. pour the butter mixture into the bowl. mix thoroughly.

roll heaped tablespoons of mixture into large balls, place onto prepared trays, leaving enough room for the biscuits to spread, press gently with fork.

bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden. stand on the trays for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
