  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease and line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper.
  2. place plaistowe premium dark chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stir constantly until melted.
  3. transfer to a large bowl; add sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla and walnuts, mixing well; spoon into prepared pan; bake 25-30 minutes, cool in pan.
  4. meanwhile, place extra plaistowe premium dark chocolate and extra butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stir until melted; transfer to a bowl and refrigerate to a spreadable consistency. spread over brownie; allow to set; cut into squares to serve.
