  1. preheat oven to 200°c/180°c fan forced. grease a 12 hole friand pan or a 12 hole (1/3 cup/80ml) muffin pan.
  2. combine water and nescafÉ blend 43 and mix until dissolved. add to a medium bowl with oil, flour, sugar, hazelnut meal and egg whites. stir until just combined.
  3. spoon mixture into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked. stand for 5 minutes before turning out.
