METHOD

  1. heat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat; add beef, brown evenly; remove from pan and keep warm.
  2. to the same pan over medium heat, add garlic, onion and mushrooms; cook 2 minutes.
  3. blend cornflour with 1 tablespoon of CARNATION light & creamy cooking milk. add to pan with remaining milk, tomato paste, stock powder and beef; bring to the boil. reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. serve with rice.
