METHOD

  1. heat oil in a frying pan over high heat. brown beef in batches; remove from pan, keep warm.
  2. to the same pan, add bacon, onion, garlic and mushrooms; cook 2 minutes.
  3. blend cornflour with 1 tablespoon of CARNATION light & creamy cooking milk. add to pan with remaining milk, tomato paste and beef; bring to the boil. reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. serve with spaghetti.
