METHOD

  1. preheat oven to 180°c/160°c fan forced. grease and line a 20 x 10cm loaf pan with baking paper.
  2. whisk CARNATION light & creamy cooking milk, sugar and eggs together in a medium bowl; fold in bananas, UNCLE TOBYS traditional oats and flour.
  3. spoon mixture into prepared pan. bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. serve warm, cooled or toasted.

  5. the best banana bread is made with really ripe bananas. if you have bananas going brown, place them in the freezer and keep them to use for this recipe. for a quick breakfast, bake the bread in advance, cool then cut into slices and freeze until required.
